From parties of 10 to 100, Aurora can accommodate all of your Rehearsal Dinner needs. Guests will enjoy a banquet style event in the intimate atmosphere of a beautifully designed restaurant. All food is prepared to order so that quality is never compromised. Our restaurant has a separate kitchen for Rehearsal Dinners so that our staff is devoted solely to making your event an unqualified success.
Aurora has a long tradition of serving the most contemporary and innovative Italian fare in the Triangle. We have developed banquet menus that bring out the spirit and conviviality that are so much a part of an Italian meal. Please see our sample menus.
Menu #1 features four courses. The first course is the Antipasto. A favorite option is the Antipasto Misto. This is an assortment of different Italian style appetizers. We feature items like proscuitto, variety of different salamis, marinated goat cheese, fresh tomato & mozzarella, and home made foccacia bread. The antipasto can be arranged on large platters that are passed around to each guest or used as a standing appetizer for when guests first arrive. The next course is the Primo Piatto. This is often pasta, but can also be risotto or polenta. If you choose pasta, the two selections are served on platters and offered to each guest family style in the same manner as the antipasto. The Secondo Piatto, the main course, is a choice of among three entrees from which each guest would order one. We suggest offering guests a meat, poultry and seafood option. Our pastry chef is in charge of finishing off the meal with a dessert that is tailored to your menu.
